Players can collect up to 86 adorable pets in the game, though only 60 of them can be stored at a time (unless you've bought extra pet storage), and just a few can be actively used on the farm.
The main way to get pets in Grow a Garden is by opening Pet Eggs, which are available through Raphael's Stall or special event shops.
